Five consecutive dry days with warming temperatures (up to 26.5°C recently) should have dried the slate surfaces, but today's elevated humidity (83%) and the quarry's notoriously poor air circulation mean some sheltered faces — particularly north-facing — may still harbour residual dampness. A visual check on arrival is strongly advised before committing to routes.

After three fully dry days (Aug 11–13) with warm temperatures and moderate wind, the rhyolite at Caseg Fraith should be largely dry on exposed surfaces. However, today's 0.1mm precipitation and elevated humidity (87%) introduce slight uncertainty, and the forecast shows persistent light drizzle over the next few days before heavier rain arrives on Aug 18.

Five consecutive dry days following light rain (2.3mm on Aug 9), combined with a warm spell (up to 27°C) and moderate wind, suggest the rock should be substantially dry — but the NW aspect, 300m altitude, high recent cumulative rainfall (37.5mm in 28 days), and persistently elevated humidity mean pockets of retained moisture cannot be ruled out. Climbers should visually and physically assess conditions on arrival before committing to climb.

The RAC Boulders have had three excellent dry days (Aug 11–13) with warm temperatures up to 29°C, which should have thoroughly dried the rock surface after the rain on Aug 9–10. However, today (Aug 14) shows 0.1mm precipitation and high humidity (89%), introducing slight uncertainty about current surface conditions.

Today has seen 0.6mm of light rain with high humidity (88%), but the rock had three excellent drying days prior (Aug 11–13) with warm temperatures and low humidity. The south-facing aspect and partial wind exposure should allow surface moisture to clear relatively quickly, but conditions need visual confirmation on arrival given today's dampness and the unsettled forecast ahead.
